About Shiawase Yakitori

Shiawase Yakitori brings first-class food experiences to the guests with traditional Japanese dishes together with specially created signatures, reinterpreting Hong Kong’s familiar flavours with Japanese culinary art into ingenious plates such as Signature Water Chestnut Squid & Minced Pork Skewer, and Grilled Suckling Pig with Okinawa Pineapple. Shiawase Yakitori is also the only robatayaki restaurant in Hong Kong recognized by the renowned Matsumoto Sake Brewing Co Ltd with a history of more than 200 years, as a qualified outlet for the refined sake.


The story of Shiawase Yakitori

The name of Shiawase Yakitori is inspired by a romantic love story of Head Chef’s friends, where “Yakitori” refers to the authentic roasted chicken served in a Japanese Izakaya. The idea of the impressive interior design comes from the Heian Jingu in Kyoto, Japan where traditional Japanese weddings are held. High quality materials and proper colours are used to reveal the Jingu style, creating a harmonious and tranquil space. The Jingu and the “Torii” are places belong to the gods, designer taking the essence of the architectures by playing on frames and stripes to signify the “Torii” (entrance) and the "Bashirika " (bar table), adding a contemporary touch to the traditional Japanese Izakaya.

We are dedicated to providing a great robatayaki dining experience to our guests to relax and enjoy with family and friends. Even if a guest is dining on his/her own, he/she will be able to chat and interact with our chefs.
